What You’ll Do

Provide strategic business knowledge for the implementation of data science applications and technologies

Own and govern data science standards and policies for Inform Ag
-
Plan and lead the data science and AI lifecycle for problem solving including data source identification, problem formulation, exploratory data analysis, model prototyping, model validation, algorithm deployment, and benefits tracking.

Maintain relationships and partnerships with external bodies relating to data science and analytics

Provide subject matter expertise to the corporation regarding the business benefit, technical solution, and operational impact for Data Science

Lead the analysis and definition of complex business requirements and translate into data science processes and designs

Review algorithms and modelling submissions by consultants
Who You are
-
Hands-on software or application development experience
-
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering

High levels of competence in R, Python, SQL and relational databases

Excellent analytical skills

Strong communication skills

Initiative and eagerness to try new approaches

Ability to learn and use new technologies quickly & effectively

Learning quickly when facing new problems, analysing both successes and failures for clues to improvements
